Aged 18, Zoë moved from Leigh-on-Sea to London; here she studied at the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu school, earning her place through their scholarship program. Following her graduation, Zoë worked her way through some of London’s best kitchens including classical Koffmann's at The Berkeley and Michelin-starred La Trompette, absorbing the expertise of many passionate mentors along the way. Zoë moved to Australia in 2016, where she discovered new Asian-influenced techniques and the use of Australian indigenous ingredients at Woodland House in Melbourne. Returning to London in 2019, she worked at the acclaimed restaurant Brat in Shoreditch, before returning to Leigh-on-Sea to cook meals for isolated and vulnerable members of the community when the COVID-19 pandemic began. Zoë now focuses on creating fine dining meals for people in and around the South East of England celebrating special occasions such as Anniversaries, Birthdays and Engagements for those who would rather enjoy a restaurant quality meal in the comfort of their own homes. Zoe was a great chef with a lovely personality. She cooked a great meal for adults and children. Everything was done with the minimum of fuss whilst to a high standard.
The food was good in both quality and quantity, the Chef, who delivered in person, was very pleasant and friendly.
Worked perfectly.
Everything went perfectly, from booking onwards.
Our chef Zoë was friendly and professional. Her menu was first-class, and enjoyed by all.
Great dinner for a family anniversary. Pheasant cooked really well, great fruit tart dessert. Pasta dish a little salty.
Overall a great experience, made a special celebration for 9 of us an evening to remember.
Zoe and Aurelia were great. Prompt, efficient, professional and very friendly. Zoe was cooking another chef's menu so it wasn't quite what we expected but the food was well cooked and well presented. The duck was a bit dry however.
The booking process was simple and had consistent communication so the website was great. Our chef was amazing. Kind and considerate along the way and very happy to part of the event. Highly recommend Zoe - she is amazing
Chef Zoe was absolutely wonderful. The food was beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. Everything was perfect. Zoe was an absolute delight and we appreciated the time she spent after the meal answering our questions. It was an absolutely fantastic evening.
Zoe was fantastic - she worked with me a few days before to tweak the menu to the needs of our guests and totally delivered on the night.
Zoe was so lovely and very attentive. She is clearly very skilled, and carried everything out without leaving a trace - the kitchen was cleaner than before she started! She also didn't seem to mind our Beyoncé megamix.
Zoe was lovely - very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Best of all she put up with our raucous enthusiasm!!
The chef was professional and very friendly, and undaunted by our over-excited enthusiasm and blaring Beyoncé tunes.
Zoe is chatty and charming, but also discreet. She left our kitchen looking better than when she arrived, and managed everything without making any requests or even asking any questions other than upon arrival.
Aside from the fact that Zoe delivered 5 outstanding courses, she was also the perfect balance of friendly and entertaining. I would highly recommend Zoe.
It was our fist experience of having a chef at home and it was lovely. The food Zoe prepared us was delicious. She brought a lot of heart and work into her meal and that shun through. Also, she brought a fancy and approachable touch to Indian food. We absolutely recommend her to anyone.
I don't tend to stick to any particular cuisine or ingredient type - I'm classically trained but love to experiment outside of French cooking. My style involves creating refined dishes with heaps of flavour. I'm not into gimmicks or tricks, just the highest quality produce used to create tasty dishes.
I've trained at culinary school, worked in some fantastic restaurants, and now I want to try something different. I'm intrigued to see how people respond to food that represents my own imagination.
Eat! London has incredible restaurants, I take advantage of that. I love exploring the city, finding quirky shops or great pubs down little side streets. I spend a decent amount of time watching food shows, reading from my excessively large collection of food books and looking at foodie posts online. Otherwise, I'll be catching up with friends, taking in a show or cycling.
