Tim watched his mother cook for high profile and famous bands at a recording studio in Cookham way back in the 1980's. Tim cooked his first dish, a chocolate cake at the age of 8. After he went through University where he won the highly praised Worshipful Company of Cooks competition and gained his first job at the Ritz Hotel in London, then forward onto The Langham Hilton in London. There was no stopping him after that. He went on to work at the Chester Grovesenor, this being his firm favourite. Tim is also a highly skilled baker and pastry chef, his desserts are not to be missed and he will make sure your private chef experience is second to none and talked about long after your meal is over. He will take care of your every need making sure that each dish is cooked to perfection and also explain every dish in detail, and sometimes has a few surprises up his chefs sleeve! Whilst he is cooking he will also be open to any questions you have to ask him and interact with you and your guests if required but will on the other hand respect your privacy and leave you to simply enjoy the experience. Amazing food, great service and a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Great communication beforehand with Tim, to make sure the menu was perfect - making tweaks and offering alternative options to suit the party. Cannot fault the service on the night, the food was beautifully presented and tasted delicious.
Had the best evening, Tim was incredible, so professional and the food was delicious, he even cleaned up after himself, would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Thanks la belle assiette for organising a fabulous evening. Chef Tim cooked an amazing meal for 13 hens last weekend. Absolutely everything he served was delicious. All the girls agreed it was one of the most amazing meals they've had. Tim is a lovely guy too & was happy to tell us how he'd prepared each course. It was all really relaxed as Tim did all the hard work and left the kitchen spotless afterwards.
Tim was great from start to finish. As soon as we booked he got in touch and we spoke about the menu. He was so flexible and adapted it according to dietary requirements. The best thing was that he kept in touch for weeks leading up to the event. His communication was great, always keeping me up to date and I felt confident that he would do a good job before he even got there.
On the night everything was flawless. Everyone (16 women) was so complimentary of everything that Tim made from the Falafel to the salmon to vegan brownies and Eton mess. Everything was 10/10 and we all said we would highly recommend him! It's clear he has a passion for food and it was great to chat to him about it.
Really we couldnt be more grateful for the meal he made for us all. It was all fabulous, and Tim was great.

The menu was amazing, extremely well presented and very tasty. The chef was very friendly and explained everything on the menu with great detail. His advise on the wine pairings with each course was perfect and worked very well. The kitchen was spotless clean when he left.
A brilliant chef, delicious food and an all round fabulous evening. Tim looked after us right from the initial booking, talking us through the menu and ingredients, throughout the dinner on the evening itself and has since followed up with tips and meal suggestions. It was a pleasure to spend the evening in Tim's hospitality - and his cooking was first class. We will definitely use the service again - a real credit to the business.

Modern gastropub with a twist like to take classics and change to a modern approach to food
Chocolate: many different varieties single origins "it's like a fine wine".
Scallops: wonderful sweet shellfish that can be used in many many ways.
Game: each game mammal/bird tastes totally different venison being my favourite "used to work on a game estate".
Because I can use my full knowledge and freedom to cook what I love and please the client at the same time. I can really express myself
