After learning his trade growing up as a baker and butchers son in Louth - Lincolnshire, Steven went on to gain experience in some of the regions top eateries including award winning and Michelin starred restaurants; Wintering Fields in North Lincolnshire, The Star Inn in North Yorkshire and Harts Hotel in Nottingham. After running a kitchen at the age of 22 and a 10 year stint as Director at the Brackenborough & Ashbourne hotels and restaurants in Lincolnshire, he now runs multi award-winning Bistro The Comfy Duck and stands as the Operations Director at the Oaklands Hall Hotel in Laceby, Grimsby as well as running Hotel & Hospitality consultancy Perfect Palate Solutions Ltd – The Lincolnshire Chef, bringing fine dining and award winning catering to private dining rooms, corporate events and weddings in and around Lincolnshire.
