About the Chef

Birmingham born and raised . I trained at University College Birmingham and started my career over sixteen year's ago. After leaving UCB I fulfilled an apprenticeship in Strasbourg France at hotel and restaurant Julien. Upon returning to the UK my career has taken me all over the Midlands and whilst continuing to work...... Birmingham born and raised . I trained at University College Birmingham and started my career over sixteen year's ago. After leaving UCB I fulfilled an apprenticeship in Strasbourg France at hotel and restaurant Julien. Upon returning to the UK my career has taken me all over the Midlands and whilst continuing to work up the ranks at some of the regions most regarded establishments I was fortunate enough to work within rosette level alongside some of the areas most respected chefs . I've had experience at senior level within high end boutique hotels , blue chip corporate events and independent restaurants. My background has given me an excellent, broad and varied culinary repertoire with influences taken from around the globe. I've taken my influences and fusion of styles from my travels around the far east as well as following a diverse range of chefs. I think my style of cuisine is modern British , I keep to the roots using simple good ingredients and fresh ideas . I have always had a passion for cooking even from a young age so I feel its a great privilege to have a profession that I enjoy and love doing .
