Fantastic birthday dinner!
I spoke with the Chef, Norbert Klosowski, ahead of the dinner. We spoke about the menu, making it more personal for the occasion and to accommodate some dietary requirements. Norbert clearly knew how he could adapt the menu and went the extra mile to make it suitable for all of my guests. I could tell from our conversation that he had everything in hand which was a great relief!
Norbert arrived on time and got straight to work with preparing our meal. He came very well prepared with everything that he needed so there was really nothing for us to do but enjoy the company of our guests. The table was set, dishes served and explained, everything was done to the highest standard.
Overall, possibly the best dining experience we've ever had!
Norbert was professional and courteous from the start, i haven't used this service before so was pleasantly surprised. Norberts food was amazing and great value for money, the portions were certainly generous 😬

Norbert did a wonderful job of making my birthday dinner extra special. Communication was good,
the menu well thought out, the food sublime and the extra personal touches were really appreciated. Eg: bread and olives
and a card and present.
He cooked singlehandedly for thirteen of us!. If you like you’re portions large this is your man! However if they were reduced just a little in size I think the food on the plate would look a little more elegant. This however is a small point in an otherwise faultless three course meal with canapés.

I arranged this private dinner as a surprise birthday gift to my husband. Chef Norbert went above and beyond to make this experience very memorable. From accommodating our vegetarian food request, to adding a delicious bread that he made to adding a personal touch, by giving my husband a birthday card and giving us a bottle of prosecco. Chef Norbert was a joy to have in our home. He has such a great personality, we could have talked to him for hours and hours. The food was fabulous! Having had a sensational meal cooked by Neal on Friday, we were disappointed by last night’s experience. Norbert was friendly and punctual but aspects of the meal left much to be desired.
Well I’m sitting in my immaculate kitchen the morning after the night before. Norbert was amazing & produced a scrumptious feast for the 8 of us. From his homemade bread through to the beautifully presented cheese board each of the courses were delicious, perfectly cooked & eye catching. Our chef Norbert and his colleague arrived and we instantly felt confident and comfortable with them in our accommodation, and sure they would deliver some excellent food. Norbert did not disappoint! He made us some absolutely delicious homemade bread which all 14 of us were very impressed by, followed by three more delicious courses. The food was of a highly professional standard, much as you would expect from a top-class restaurant.
There was lots of food, and Norbert and his colleague were kind enough to wrap up what we weren't able to eat for us to eat the next day, which we absolutely did. Norbert was even thoughtful enough to bring my mother, whose birthday it was, a card and small gift.
We would encourage anyone who is thinking about using this private chef to do so- it is fantastic, professional service at a very reasonable price.

Norbert had some problems finding us (it was a very remote location!) but once he was there he quickly made up the time and we sat down only a short time after we expected to which was not a problem.

Norbert was very punctual and came prepared which was great. He was very polite throughout the evening and attentive to our needs. The menu he prepared was delicious and all guests were impressed with the standard of the food and the portion sizes. It was highly appreciated that he was able to accommodate the whole menu to be gluten free at short notice, and that he trialled both the breads and dessert to ensure they were to his standard when using gluten free flours. Overall the presentation and quality of the menu served was fantastic and would recommend his services to others in the future.

Norbert created a delicious meal for 8 adults, which suited all tastes. It was high in quality and rich in flavour, prepared and served with professionalism. The portion sizes were extremely generous and the food that was left Norbert kindly plated up for us to enjoy later. The sales staff were helpful but overly aggressive with the follow up, I received numerous calls and emails when I had given specific instruction as to when to expect the payment to come through as I was managing a large group. The chef was helpful and organised especially as it was not his menu that had been chosen.

We booked Norbert's sharing menu for a family Boxing Day meal. With 10 people to feed including 2 children this was a perfect menu as there was plenty of choice for everyone even though we all have different tastes. Everyone agreed the food was gorgeous, we all ate until we could physically eat no more & there was enough food left over to easily feed another 10 people which Norbert kindly left with us.

Norbert's service was great from start to finish. We had a great chat about the evening and meal about a week before the date. I had some requests to alter the menu slightly and he was very accommodating.
The food was absolutely delicious with very generous portions. The canapes were a lovely extra touch.
We were a hen and as such were quite loud and the alcohol was flowing. Norbert and his colleague (sorry I've forgotten his name) took it all in their stride and were great sports, while continuing to make our lovely dinner.

Being a found of desserts, the chocolate and honey mousse wasn't too heavy. In my opinion, there was a good combination and balance between the sweetness of the Dark chocolate mousse and the acidity of the orange and ginger!

Norbert cooked a truly exceptional dinner for us. All dishes were delicious and sophisticated and the portions were very generous. My favourite was the duck breast, which was prepared to perfection and incredibly tasty. Norbert is very friendly, clean and efficient. I highly recommend him!
My star dish would probably be smoked Haddock and chorizo sausage risotto topped with soft poached egg.
I love onions, risotto rice and chocolate. All three are so versatile. You can even burn your onion and still will taste good. Chocolate can be seen in many different textures and can be mixed with fruit, chillies, salt, and almost everything you can think of.
Working as a private chef allows me to really put my heart on the plate and cook to all needs for people who wants to experience my food.
