Natalie was very talented and offered a diverse menu that catered to everyone. And as a special treat she made my husband a delicious birthday cake.
Excellent experience
Chef - I thought Natalie was very good. She communicated well and was flexible as our number choices changed ahead of the event. She was professional, courteous, and cleaned up very well so we hardly knew she had been there (although the floor was quite dirty but quickly solved with a mop after she left).
The food tasted very good...although i found it strange the canapes were larger in volume than the actual starters and the mains were a touch small in the view of our group. I didn't eat the vegetarian option of mushroom ravioli which i was told was excellent....however its always a bit disheartening to see it come out of a waitrose packet pre made. It was something i would have normally have expected to have been made fresh for £100/head as it would be in a restaurant.
Nevertheless, the evening was great and I accept for NYE there is a premium to be paid so in that sense I am happy with the service we received. I'd consider using it again, but would certainly be looking to pay less than £100/head.
Nat was so friendly and professional and she made the whole evening so easy. Food was really great.
From planning to the big night, working with Nat was a pleasure! She prepared an inventive and seasonal menu, that was really flavourful and fresh. The dishes weren't overly complicated or pretentious and were enjoyed by all my guests - they are still raving about the deconstructed cheesecake! I'd be delighted to hire Nat to cook for me and my friends again.
I'm trying to make the most out of every ingredient. My cooking style is full of passion and improvising and I don't ever make the same dish twice - it's all about the improvement and bringing them to the best quality possible!
