About the Chef

Michael is a very passionate chef who loves working with fresh seasonal and local produce; his style is a mix of modern British and French cuisine. He started his career working in Country house hotels across Wales with a number of different accolades. The pinnacle of Michael's career was when he achieved 2 Culinary O...... Michael is a very passionate chef who loves working with fresh seasonal and local produce; his style is a mix of modern British and French cuisine. He started his career working in Country house hotels across Wales with a number of different accolades. The pinnacle of Michael's career was when he achieved 2 Culinary Olympic medals as part of the Welsh Culinary Team, this was at the Culinary Olympics held in Germany. He has also cooked for the British Prime Minister at 10 Downing street, as part of the St Davids day celebrations to promote the best Wales has to offer. Michael also does cooking demonstrations at shows across the UK including Birmingham and London to promote Welsh ingredients. His day job is to train chefs to the highest standard possible throughout restaurants and hotels in Wales, he is contracted to some of the highest rated Hotels in the Country to achieve this and deliver exclusive training programs that are exclusive to their team. As a private chef Michael likes to take local, seasonal produce and mix it with fresh flavours to bring out the best of the product and to show his clients some new and not over complicated ways to make food more exciting. His menus are classic with a modern twist and some new dishes thrown in for the clients enjoyment. You will find Michael's food fun, fresh and exciting and guaranteed to "wow" the guests.
