Massimo is a manager in an multinational corporation and he's been spending his spare time cooking since the age of 15. He was passed the passion for cooking from his grandma who was a professional cooker in Venice. Massimo is a manager in an multinational corporation and he's been spending his spare time cooking since the age of 15. He was passed the passion for cooking from his grandma who was a professional cooker in Venice. Massimo loves cooking, and since he is a perfectionist, all the different steps for meal preparation have to be perfect. Everything starts from the ingredient selection, fresh products, first quality no matter the price. Food markets and food gourmet shops are his natural environment; he is also passionate for wine with a strong knowledge of the Italian wine production. He cooks for himself and his family, often he invites friends and hosts dinners where he can enjoy and delight guests with delicious preparations. Massimo spans from the traditional Italian cuisine to some recipes he has adapted having learnt from his international travels, but where he is best at is definitely with seafood. Many recipes derived from the Venetian culinary tradition, others are simply coming from his creativity. His style consists of light preparations, few ingredients at time, taste without overdoing using fat or spices; his purpose is to enhance taste and flavours of the key component of a dish and find the right match between different elements in preparation. As per the best Italian tradition, excellent extra-virgin olive oil is always present, especially the one from Tuscany; and then all the possible shellfish, crustaceans and kind of sea food he can get.
