Mario was very professional. The truffle risotto he served us was amazing! He was polite and always explained each course. He was very polite and left the kitchen spotless. I would highly recommend this company.
Mario turned up on time and was extremely professional. He cooked us a wonderful three course dinner, exactly what I'd asked for. He waited on us hand and foot, took photos of us as requested and then tidied up everything perfectly afterwards. He was lots of fun and I thoroughly recommend him. It was my birthday, and marvellous to be able to totally focus on my guests rather than worrying about the catering.

It was easy to book, the website let’s you choose your cuisine, chef and menu easily. The chef was great, food delicious. So lovely to eat at home without shopping, preparation, cooking or clearing up! Highly recommended.
Mario cooked an exception meal for my birthday dinner party; scallops, arichoke soup, rack of lamb with a mushroom & mustard mash side.s Throughout the evening Mario was flexible and even with a last minute notification of a vegetarian option he was able to adjust. It was a Xmas present for my family as I was in Spain and could not be there. They loved the idea of having a personal chef and Chef Mario did not disappoint. He lived up to every expectation and more. I cannot heap enough praise on the whole experience! I now have enough 'brownie points' to last into next year!
Mario was an incredible centre point to our evening. He talked us through each dish, he worked alongside us to create a menu that was suitable for all the various dietary requirements - and he even created the most incredibly delicious dairy-free cheesecake for dessert. I would not hesitate to book Mario again.
We had another great experience enjoying lovely high quality food served in the comfort of our own home where we could chat with friends in a nice peaceful setting. Although the chef we got was not the chef we originally booked chef mario caffe was very accomodating to our specific requirements on the menu.
My wife and I had a pizza making cooking class with Mario. We really enjoyed the experience. Mario was very friendly and professional. He gave us some great tips and the pizzas were delicious. Mario and Nicholas ( chef and assistant ) were great.
I had liaised pre event to make amendments to the menu ( due to a couple of "fussy" eaters)and all were accommodated. Communications were easy and positive. They arrived very well prepared and after brief introductions retreated to the kitchen.
It was a pleasure to be able to relax with our guests instead of having to be cooking. We enjoyed drinks whilst they did the hard work.
I had chosen the "Spring" menu and every element of the dish reflected that with freshness.
The starter of asparagus, duck egg and Parmesan was beautifully presented and delicious. The main was chicken breast in lemon juice on wilted spinach ( with minted new potatoes added as an extra) ). The meat was incredibly tender and moist and the simplicity of the dish enhanced its pleasure. Dessert was described as a lemon cheesecake but it was presented in a glass in deconstructed form. It was pure joy; zingy and creamy with crushed biscuits and fresh raspberries. Even those who don't normally eat desert enthused.
A delicious 3 course menu, served in a friendly, casual but efficient manner. Nicholas also poured drinks throughout the meal again allowing me and Mrs H to focus on our guests.
Not long after they had cleared the dessert I wandered into the kitchen and everything was cleared , tidy or in the dishwasher.
This was the easiest , most pleasurable and best food dinner party we have ever hosted. And it was great value! We would have paid at least as much for 3 courses at our local pub but the huge saving was on drinks. We served at supermarket prices not at restaurant prices.
Huge thanks to all the team. I would commend this experience to anyone.

Extra virgin olive oil from Puglia, garlic, and chilli. They make a good combination; in fact, they are the basis for much of Mediterranean cuisine.
