About the Chef

Marco Letterese is an Italian Neapolitan born Chef who has been cooking professionally since 1987. After finishing Swiss culinary school his first role was as commis chef at the famous Le Meridien Hotel in the heart of London's Piccadilly. He opened Ristorante La Prua on the Italian Riviera and was awarded two AA rosette...... Marco Letterese is an Italian Neapolitan born Chef who has been cooking professionally since 1987. After finishing Swiss culinary school his first role was as commis chef at the famous Le Meridien Hotel in the heart of London's Piccadilly. He opened Ristorante La Prua on the Italian Riviera and was awarded two AA rosettes for his culinary skills. To complete his journey he wanted to work in a Michelin environment so an opportunity arose back in 2011 to join the famous chef Adam Simmonds at Danesfield House in Henley on Thames. Marco motto is everyday one can learn new styles and techniques. He is excited to be able to bring a taste of the Mediterranean and the best of what Italy has to offer into your home. Enjoys using locally sourced fresh, beautiful vibrant produce that reproduce a memorable dining experience. His main speciality is fresh egg pasta, fish and seafood but he creates wonderful dishes for meat lovers, vegetarians and gluten free. Food is love and I love is to eat well....
