He then moved to a bistro to work as a second chef doing orderings, menu development and stock control. After that Manveeer went and worked in the Channel Islands for two years in a small hotel catering at a two Rosette level and spent a lot of hard hours learning the pastry section to get a better understanding of the sweeter side of the kitchen. He then returned to his original 4* hotel and ran the pastry section catering 400 cover weddings plus restaurant menus. Manveer and Amy did a brilliant job delivering an outstanding lunch to celebrate a special birthday with the whole family.
We had lots of discussion on menu choices before we settled on 3 super courses.
All went well on the day - slick, professional timing and service and delicious food enjoyed by everyone.
It was a great experience, the chef was lovely and accommodating. The food was really good and everything was tidied up afterwards. Overall, a truly fantastic service!
The dinner by Manveer Holloway was sensational. He is a very hard working, talented, skilled and friendly chef who produced a superb 3 course meal in our own home. He made an additional starter and main course for one non- meat eater and this was done with the same diligence and skill. I would very happily have Manveer back, he was great value and a lovely guy.

This was my very first booking with La Belle Assiette - I'd never even considered hiring out a private chef before and had absolutely no idea what to expect. But having hosted a fair few dinners myself before and feeling a little tired of being left out of the conversation when it came time to cook or clean, I was excited to give it a go!
On the day of the meal, Manveer and his partner arrived nice and early to prep and start cooking. I'd never had anyone cook in my kitchen before and so was a little nervous about whether my pots and pans would be up to stuff, but Manveer had brought plenty of extra "cheffy" equipment so the quality of the food wouldn't suffer if I didn't have an item in my cupboard. I told him how to turn on the hob and how to the set the oven and he got right down to it!
The clean up really was the cherry on top of a wonderful evening; Manveer and his partner worked tirelessly to ensure that everything was spick and span and the hob and oven returned to how they were beforehand.

What a fantastic evening. The food was so good and the chef and his assistant were friendly and chatty explaining information about the food. The courses were well prepared and cooked to perfection. The kitchen was tidied up and the dishwashing done and the oven cleaned. A great night was had with great company.
Of all the private companies I spoke with these guys were the best. They are organised and efficient. The chef (Manveer) was equally good. He spent a very long time giving me much needed guidance on the menu, and could not do enough for us on the night. Even bringing his partner to help serve. The food itself was excellent - he's evidently a very good chef. Also a lovely bloke. Kitchen spotless afterwards. A very good experience.
Manveer was the perfect chef. He took time to discuss the menu, taking into account our various likes and dislikes. He arrived in plenty of time to sort out the kitchen and quietly but efficiently prepared the food. We loved all the delicious dishes from starter to dessert and the small children did too. I would thoroughly recommend him as a private chef. The kitchen was left absolutely spotless and the service was friendly and courteous. Thank you Manveer.
We really enjoyed the whole experience and would give it 5 stars. Certainly we would consider using the company again for another special occasion.
My cooking style is fine dining, 2 Rosette standard food and quality.
I love cooking, have a huge passion and feel that I can share my passion in more depth as a private chef.
An opportunity to cook for fewer guests but at a finer level is what encourages me to pursue being a private chef.

Amazing event for 350 guests where I designed the dessert menu, plated all the desserts and worked on the starters. It was a night to remember: happy guests, hard work paid off and the evening was a huge success.
