Khalid culinary journey started in some of Geneva top restaurants working as an apprentice, he then headed to France exploring the country’s food and techniques, khalid trained in Michelin Star restaurants such as L’asperge and Le Meurice allowing him to gain a huge repertoire of knowledge. Khalid culinary journey started in some of Geneva top restaurants working as an apprentice, he then headed to France exploring the country’s food and techniques, khalid trained in Michelin Star restaurants such as L’asperge and Le Meurice allowing him to gain a huge repertoire of knowledge. Looking to further enhance his culinary experience, Khalid set off to Italy where he gained high knowledge and skills in prestigious restaurants in Naples and Venice. From there, he came to London, the place he now calls home, A dedicated chef, food writer and food fanatic, Khalid’s extensive career has enabled him to open and run many restaurants across London and Europe, his latest venture where he mobilized a modern European restaurant as part of the huge Les trios Rocks project in the hearts of the alps in the luxurious resort of Verbier in Switzerland, successfully after three month of opening, the restaurant was renowned to be best new restaurant in Verbier by the locals and tourists alike. Previously to this, Khalid opened and run Danes yard kitchen in the iconic new strand east which was then named best new restaurant in east London 2012. Khalid also had the privileged to manage some great establishments in recent years such as Rhubarb food design at the Saatchi Gallery, Bibendum; The Gaucho grills, gaining some excellent reviews from the likes of Fay Machler and Charles Campion for his simple approach to good food and outstanding hospitality. His guests list has included, Kevin Spacey, Tony Blair, Bill Clinton and the legendary Albert Roux Read all Hide
