The quality of the food was wonderful and Kasia arrived in plenty of time! The food and the presentation of the food were amazing and the seasoning spot on. I would Kasia is really organised and called before to help make arrangements for the day. We will definitely use her again,

This was a celebratory birthday meal for my husband’s 60th birthday, so I opted for the priciest tier menu.
We were agreed that the meal was tasty and enjoyable, but I felt that the main course could also have included vegetables, as with just fish, rice and a salsa it was lacking something. Having someone to prepare a meal made a lovely change.
Kasia Samuels was very friendly and efficient and cooked a delicious meal for our group of six.
If you are considering Kasia for a private dinner I can say from my direct and personal experience she is second to non. She arrived on time. Took time to prepare. Kept me informed at all times. Even asked if my guest was going to be late. She prepared a welcome drink, a delicious starter and main and desert. All were first class and with service and explanations. We didn't notice she was there. The evening flowed perfectly. She cleaned up and left like a mouse. We hardly heard to door close. She truly understands what a customer needs. I will use her again and highly recommend her to anyone
We had a really lovely meal and cannot fault the chef, Kasia, her food was amazing and served promptly with no fuss. My only criticism of La Belle Assiette would be cost, you pay an awful lot of money for the privilege of having a meal prepared in your own home, we have used private chefs before and would say that La Belle Assiette do not offer great value for money in comparison. As I say no reflection on the chef, just felt that it wasn't the fantastic experience it should have been for the money.
I chose menu from chef Kasia. I was able to make a few amendments. Kasia communicated with me via text prior to the event and was prompt on the day. She and her assistant were really nice and jovial and relaxed. They got on with what they needed to do and were very easy to get on with. The food was delicious and it did feel like a special treat on the day. I would definitely recommend having a private chef for a special event and I would also recommend chef Kasia.

We booked an evening with Kasia S Samuels and her 'Favourite Flavours' menu for my parents' birthday. The experience was very smooth from start to finish; the food was excellent and my parents were absolutely delighted with the novelty of having a professional chef come and cook for them (my mum was a bit worried that the kitchen was too small, but clearly that didn't phase Kasia)
Kasia herself was a real pleasure to work with - she responded promptly to all my messages, made a really excellent alteration to her menu to suit the vegetarian in the group and left the kitchen spotless. One particular thing I would highlight is the pride Kasia obviously took in her work - the dishes were immaculately presented and Kasia was positively beaming when she was describing the food to us while she was plating up.
I think the chefs get most of their business through word of mouth so I hope this review can convince someone on the fence to give Kasia a try because I have nothing but good things to say about her professionalism and ability as a chef. The only drawback to the evening was that it was a little pricey, but I still felt it was excellent value for money - you get far more of a personalised experience than an equivalent price meal in a conventional restaurant, and the quality of the food is much better. I would certainly do it every week if I could afford it!

Really excellent food which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. Kasia arrived nice and early to prep, left everything spotless and tidy, and gave just the right level of service and attention. We couldn't fault it

The evening went without a hitch. The food was phenomenal and the service was impeccable. Kasia was extremely helpful both before and during the evening and i will most certainly be booking again.
Having a private chef is a great experience. We have a young baby and it was my partner’s birthday, so it was a great way to celebrate in the comfort of our own home. It really created the sense of a special occasion while keeping it low key.
Kasia was great and the food was good and tasty, although most of the dishes were pre-prepared (but I can’t expect too much in our tiny kitchen) and it felt a little rushed. Having said that, I’ll most definitely have this experience again on another occasion, as it is super convenient, not having to wash up or trave home after dinner :) Would definitely recommend it to others too.

Everything was exceptional from start to finish. Communication was great, very responsive and at no point was I left wondering what was going on or if everything was going to plan. The chef, Kasia, texted me to introduce herself so I had her number to reach out directly if necessary and texted a few days before to confirm everything was still ok. I had one person drop out and a change of some of the courses (one recommended by Kasia which I'm very glad I took!), all of which was handled exceptionally smoothly. The food was amazing, the starter was one of the best I've ever had (thanks Kasia)! Kasia was friendly, efficient and left the kitchen cleaner than when she started! All in all an exceptional experience that I will definitely repeat again in future and would definitely recommend to anyone.

Dinner was very tasty but could have been hotter. A couple of the men wanted larger portions. Our chefs were lovely.
Kasia was great start to finish. She arrived and took control of the kitchen making us feel very comfortable and she left it very tidy and clean. In between she prepared the most amazing food, using fresh ingredients she had either grown herself or carefully sourced. She was flexible around our timings for service and polite and friendly but not overbearing. All in a fantastic experience and I couldn't recommend Kasia enough!

I booked a private dinner with chef Kasia as a surprise for my husband's 40th birthday. Everything about the evening was perfect. Kasia was perfectly on time, professional and, most importantly, an amazing cook. Each course was perfectly flavoured and we loved hearing how she's personally selected and sourced the ingredients. And when she was done she left us with our glasses and bellies full and our kitchen was cleaner than it probably has ever been!
Kasia, our chef, was not only friendly and warm with the children, but professional, punctual and hard working, coping excellently with the idiosyncrasies of our dodgy oven and tiny kitchen! She also kept going with cheesecake options — from a simple strawberry cheesecake with toasted coconut and roasted nuts and cherry balsamic glaze to a roasted hazelnut, milk chocolate cheesecake with pecan/walnut biscuit base and dark salted chocolate ganache on top. David went for one made with salted caramel (with black salt and pecans) and a coconut, walnut digestive base.
On the night, she arrived bang on time (an hour and a half before our guests) with her waitress and (after a speedy cuppa) they got on with it. And I got on with enjoying getting ready for dinner in my own home with NO work! (Apart from laying the table and pouring drinks.)
She was flexible when two of our guests arrived late — nothing was too much trouble.
Dinner was fabulous. Presented on her own china, it looked restaurant-ready and tasted equally good. The starter was a super food salad made with a gazillion ingredients, including garlic-infused black rice, kale, peppers, pickled balsamic glaze, beetroot, pink Himalayan salt, sesame haloumi and pomegranates. Colourful, crunchy and pretty in equal measure.
The main course sea bass with caper lemon, red chilli sauce sat on top of crushed new potatoes and a zingy tomato, cucumber and coriander salsa with sweet, juicy mango. Another winning dish.
The finale was that cheesecake. David’s portion was served on a heart-shaped platter complete with edible flowers and candles. (I hadn’t requested those – it was entirely her idea.) He (and I) were utterly delighted.
When Kasia left, the kitchen was spotless and all we had to do was load the last wine glasses into the dishwasher. It was the hugest treat.
I eat a lot (for my living) and her food is up there with the best. Fresh, colourful, perfectly seasoned and well-balanced. I recommend her without any reservations.

Many thanks to chef Kasia! She took away all the usual stress of a formal dinner party and treated our 8 'foodies' to a first class menu.
We started with the wild mushroom soup which was divine (and the warmed garlic and herb bread a perfect addition).
Then onto the delicious honey marinated smoked salmon which we all thought was perfectly paired with some sesame seeds and mango dressing.
Kasia then cooked the 'melt in your mouth' wagyu beef to order (by which time 2 of our guests had already asked me for details of where to find Kasia for their forthcoming dinners!)
Before desert Kasia surprised us with a pallet cleanser of organic strawberry vodka cocktails which then led onto the desert finale, of a salted caramel pecan cheesecake with a coconut and walnut base!
All in all a delightful evening with not one but two oral orgasms (The Wagyu beef and cheesecake)
We are greatly looking forward to welcoming Kasia to our next dinner party so we can experience some more of her splendid cuisine. M&Y

Kasia's cooking was amazing, there were a few items on the menu that I wasn't entirely convinced by but when the food came it was absolutely delicious! The only reason this is not 5 star is because we opted for a taster menu, and for me the experience was a bit too quick, the food came quickly and not much time to breath inbetween. However any food left over, Kasia was sure to cover it up and we gobbled it up the following day :) Overall, really enjoyed the food and would recommend Chef Kasia!!
We had a wonderful 50th birthday dinner for 22 people thanks to Kasia and her assistants. The food was excellent - beautifully presented and delicious. I have never had a more amazing looking and tasting chocolate cake!! Kasia was very friendly, professional and accommodating both before and during the event and her two assistants showed lots of initiative in greeting and serving guests. We never had to think about a thing after everyone arrived - a big change from usually trying to do it all ourselves! I would highly recommend Chef Kasia.
Kasia was awesome. Every course was delicious, generous portions, timed perfectly. 4 courses of this quality would cost a lot more in any restaurant. Many ingredients were from Kasia's own garden - I'm sure if we'd chosen any other of her menus it would have been just as good!

Chef Kasia contacted us before the evening to discuss any particular needs. She arrived very promptly and set about preparing the meal unobtrusively. It our wedding anniversary and we were able to prepare for the evening and enjoy a relaxing pre-drink. The meal was served promptly at the pre-arranged time with very professional style and description of the courses. The food was absolutely delicious with the steak in particular being melt-in-the-mouth tender. Over all a thoroughly delightful experience and one that will be well worth repeating. At the end of the meal the kitchen was left absolutely immaculate.
Kasia came and cooked for 18 of us to celebrate my husband's 60th. The whole process from start to finish was amazing. Her communication before the event was very good as we had varying dietary requirements. The food itself was sensational. One guest commented that it was the best steak he had ever had. Our dining table is in our kitchen but Kasia was completely unobtrusive as she cooked. After the dessert she slipped out leaving the kitchen immaculate. Would highly recommend.

Kasia was great - she arrived on time and prepared a wonderful meal for myself and my wife.
The overall service was good, however I was disappointed by two things:
1. the kitchen floor as well as other small areas were not left as found, I had to mop the floor and re-clean other areas of the kitchen. In addition, the chef and waitress put their feet up with shoes on the kitchen stools whilst we were eating.
2. the olive paste contained anchovies, and I had made it clear in previous correspondence with Gianluca that anchovies is one of the food items that should not be included as my girlfriend does not eat it.
Kasia provided us with an excellent dining experience for our family to celebrate my wife's 60th burthday.
Everything was great on the night - food service etc. This rating has been lowered overall due to some lack of communication and mis-understandings on the run-up to the event. Otherwise it was really good!

We were very last minute in booking up but Gianluca was really helpful and we chose our chef for the night to be Kasia. Kasia was great. Very prompt and polite. The food was amazing. Have been to some lovely restaurants but it's been a while since I enjoyed all three courses as much as I did Kasia's. All four of us were very pleased with the experience, and not to have to wash up was just a bonus. I would highly recommend.

We have used Chef Sasia a couple of times in the past and decided to use her for our wedding lunch. I was apprehensive about how smoothly things would go as she would be cooking for 30+ guests, she reassured me that everything would go according to the plan and unsurprisingly she delivered. All the courses were served according to the seating plan and on time. All my guests were impressed by the quality of the food and the large portion sizes, suffice to say not much dinner was eaten that night!! I would highly recommend Chef Sasia; the service and most importantly the quality of her cooking would stand up to any reputable restaurant.
I decided a meal cooked at home for a group of friends for my birthday would be something different - and I was right. After selecting my dates I was given a list of menus by different chefs and decided on Meaty Meaty cooked by Chef Kasia. I wanted a couple of changes to the menu which was not a problem after speaking to Kasia. The night was perfect. Kasia and her assistant arrived on time and started preparing the meal after a couple of questions. We were left to enjoy drinks outside while everything was prepared. Once ready we were asked to be seated at the table and were served delicious food. All we had to do was look after the wine and wait for the next course. After dessert, our cheese board was presented and then they were off leaving the kitchen spotless. The night was perfect, the food was superb and everyone was impressed.
We had booked Chef Kasia Samuels for a celebration lunch for 6 on our 40th wedding Anniversary (with granddaughters 3 months old and three years old also present it seemed the perfect solution)
Within minutes of arriving, Chef Kasia and her sous-chef had started cooking.
I had explained that the meal might have to be delayed if my daughter needed to feed the baby. Kasia was very understanding and we did actually have to delay the meal for a few minutes and kasia coped with this with no fuss at all.
We had chosen the Teaser Menu with the mushroom stater, the sweet and sour sea bass as main and the crumble as dessert. We were not disappointed! Every course was delicious and beautifully presented ( I had worried about which of my crockery they would find suitable, in fact they brought their own stylish plates).
Crucially, the sea bass fillets were cooked to perfection, the portions were generous and the flavours of the whole menu were very well balanced.
Before the event kasia offered good communication and was happy to discuss menu choices and advise on wines. On the day, I found kasia (and her sous-chef) very friendly, organised and super efficient. Within two and a half hours, the meal had been cooked served and the kitchen left spotless. Thank you!
A minor point is that we had ordered individual printed menus from La Belle Assiette which sadly, arrived the day
after the event... I suspect it's because we had chosen the menu quite late (only 10 days before) and also they had come from Paris. In the end, it didn't matter as I had printed my own.

It was quite something seeing her and her colleague at work – in no time at all, she and her colleague had the most delicious meal ready that all my guests raved about. They were flexible and accommodating about when we wanted the starters to turn up and there was no feeling of being rushed through the meal. The quality of the food and the flavours and textures were wonderful. Quantities were perfect (nobody left anything, but we certainly didn’t go hungry!) and the presentation was restaurant-quality. Each dish was cooked to perfection & presented with precision & perfect timing, allowing us to enjoy the lovely warm summer evening together.
Kasia, after her finale of a delicious collaboration between tiramisu and salted caramel, managed to quietly clean & pack up, leaving us to complete a magical evening uninterrupted.

Perfect experience! Couldn't take my wife out for a high quality meal in London for our anniversary due to a 12 week old baby, Chef Kasia to the rescue. Couldn't have worked out better and food was better than many London high end restaurant. That combined with Kasia's personal touch, kindness, knowledge of food and combining flavours made this an evening to remember. My wife was impressed anyway! Only problem: how do I top this next year!

It was truly an exceptional experience. It is great being able to spend every minute with your guests while knowing that you don't have to worry about food preparation etc. Kasia's dishes were delicious. I would definitely have her on other occasions, and i would highly recommend her.

Kasia was incredibly punctual, left the kitchen just as it was. She was efficient and quick at preparing our courses, All in all, it was such a great experience to have a professionally prepared meal in the comfort of your own home and everything was very easy. We had a big group of girls around afterwards for olives and cheese and several of them took business cards as they were interested to learn more about La Belle Assiette!

For this mother’s day we wanted to try something different, rather than going out for lunch or getting a takeaway. Hiring a chef for the lunch (Kasia Samules) turned out of be a fantastic idea. Not only the food was brilliant (home / freshly cooked), my wife and I could put our feet up and enjoy some quality time with the family.
Kasia turned up on the day and took full control of the kitchen. Once the starters were ready she invited us to a well laid dining table. She then served the food and waited until we were done. Finally, she cleaned the kitchen before leaving.
The food was brilliant – we went for Chicken wings for the starters, Green Thai chicken curry with rice for the starters and Apple and Strawberry crumble with ice-cream for the dessert. I would definitely recommend Chicken wings – one of the best I have had for sometime.
I think we may have Kasia back in for the Christmas and cook us a nice roast, while we enjoy with the family.

Despite a range of dietary requirements which played havoc with her menu, she managed to cater for everyone perfectly.
Ahead of the evening, her menu read mouth wateringly well. She, and her waitress arrived in good time and just got on with it. All I had to do was to lay the table, although they even offered to do that.
The food was superb. The starter was pretty as a picture, presented on a black slate, and tasted just as good. The main course steak was the best i'd ever eaten - truly. It just melted in the mouth and every one of us eating it felt the same. It was in a rich, deeply flavoured red wine jus which I could have drunk on its own. So so good! Lucky she served it on some yummy mash to mop it up with! The champagne jelly and pannacotta pud was a perfect, light ending to the meal.
She served everything on her own, elegant china/slate/glass so it all looked restaurant standard.
The veggies amongst us weren't neglected as they ate wild mushroom soup with griddled focaccia and a Thai-style veggie curry and rice. (Also delicious)
She and her waitress left my kitchen pretty well as they found it and left us all with huge smiles on our faces.

I had the pleasure of being invited to a meal at my friend's home, to experience the culinary genius that is Kasia S Samuels. I can quite happily say that it was the best meal I have eaten in a very long time (if not ever). The attention to detail, combination of tastes, textures and ingredients were inspiring. Kasia clearly cooks with passion and dedication, and I could see how much she cared about the preparation and presentation of the food. The meal began with seared salmon, which was rare (almost sushi) but beautifully complimented by sesame seeds and spirallised vegetables. Very light, upbeat and incredible tasty to start. The main course however for me was the main event. We were served steak (cooked to our own preferences), which was so tender it melted in the mouth, with truffle mash and asparagus. Everything cooked to perfection, just the right portion size - not too big/small, and everyone around the table agreed on it being the best steak we'd tasted. I gather it had been marinated for two days, and Kasia clearly selects the best herbs, spices and ingredients. Dessert was the perfect finale - a panacotta cup with zingy berry layers, to leave us all with a sweet taste after an extraordinary meal. On a personal note, Kasia is charming, professional, calm, organised, and most importantly - an incredible chef. And all enjoyed in the comfort of a home setting - I'd definitely book her in the future.

Great menu for our Valentine day plus able to cater separately a menu for our 5yo daughter. While it was strange someone else at home cooking fine food and drink, it gave a chance to relax and enjoy the moment with whole family. The food was amazing and cocktails had good kick. The fillet steaks were cooked to everyone's individual taste buds and the scallop starter dish was delicious, with just the right seasoning. I'll never forget the way she made the crispy sage! The poached pear was absolutely delicious !!! Really recommend Kasia for your event.
The presentation, service and the quality of ingredients was outstanding. Kasia was very kind and patient and always delivered delicious food.
Kasia was delightful, really efficient, great to have around but not evasive. Food was phenomenal ane the cocktails were superb.
Kasia is an excellent chef. Well mannered and talented, the 3-course meal of tuna steak, chicken curry and poached pear was light yet flavoursome. I'd recommend her to everyone and she created a great experience. You can tell she really cares about the food she cooks and presents for the diners.
The food and service was very good and professional chef kasia is the best we have had yet would definitely recommend her. Her fillet steak was definitely the best I ever had and it was very tasty and full of fantastic flavours.

This was the first Chef I have hired for a company event, and something that as a brand we are looking to do more of. It enables us to demonstrate the fantastic food we can cook on our products by a professional chef - whilst we can be on hand to talk about the functionalities and benefits. Kasia was extremely easy to deal with from the outset - even at extremely short notice. On the day she was professional and remained calm even under difficult circumstances - we had limited space anD no running water. Kasia was absolutely amazing. She was an utter delight to have in the house, worked around all the mess I left in the kitchen, was polite at all times but most importantly the food was incredible. The duck was beyond tasty and all the dishes looked fantastic. I even told her at last minute one guest was vegetarian and she sorted them out an equally tasty dish with no fuss or hassle. I throughly recommend her to everyone.
We had Kasia come and cook for us on Saturday. She was excellent. The food was delicious and the kitchen was left spotless.
Superb meal well presented. Kasia was great - punctual, pleasant and served us a wonderful meal. The marinated steaks really did melt in the mouth ! Highly recommended.

After months of struggling on my own to cook using the Gerson Nutritional Therapy guidelines, today, Chef Kasia brought life to recipes which were previously bland and unappetising; adding herbs and spices and finding interesting combinations of ingredients which I am able to finally enjoy eating. She has been very attentive and considerate of my dietary requirements and I no longer feel alone in this aspect of the Gerson Nutritional Therapy. I feel very lucky to have 'found' her and look forward to her coming again.

I love wild mushrooms with fresh organic garlic cooked in creamy butter with a pinch of sea salt and pepper, and sprinkled with fresh herbs on a bed of freshly baked bread.
Creamy butter - everything tastes better cooked with butter;
Garlic - healthy and tasty;
Balsamic glaze - gives depth to any dish.
Cooking is my passion and my life. There is nothing better than a lovely homemade meal after a long day.
Over-salted chicken strips for my future husband, who had to pretend he loved the dish simply because he loves me! :)
