Jordan was in constant touch in the run up to my party, nothing was too much trouble. We settled on an array of unusual and delicious canapés followed by a wonderful supper. A charming chef who was relaxed and very competent. He left my kitchen sparkling clean and tidy. I would thoroughly recommend him.

The dinner was fabulous. Jordan was friendly, polite, informative and above all discrete. He knew when to talk and when to let us get on with our evening. We didn't hear him preparing our food (which was in another part of the same room we were sitting in).
Jordan was great from start to finish. Excellent communication before the event. Catered for two of our party's dietary requirements very willingly and was all round super helpful during the event, making us all feel comfortable. The food was also excellent and presented beautifully. I highly recommend him and La belle Assiette.
I became a Private Chef in order to fully express myself creatively and to have greater autonomy over what I do. Being able to talk openly with the client and discuss bespoke menu and dish concepts that are tailored to their exacting requirements is something I missed in the commercial kitchens. Furthermore the diversity in the day to day life of a Private Chef is far more exhilarating.
Once catering a Private Birthday Party inside a set of man made Caves has to be one of the most memorable occasions in my catering portfolio. Moving over 3 tonnes of tables, chairs, dance floors, sound, lighting and catering equipment through half a mile of 5 foot high tunnels certainly made for entertainment. When all said and done it was well worth it with some amazing stories to take away with the unique event.
The first dish I ever remember cooking was a Traditional Lasagna. This meant making a Bechamel from scratch and pasta kneading and rolling for the first time. It was my first masterpiece but still had plenty of room for improvement. Still one of my favourite dishes to cook even now.
