Giorgio is a skilled, passionate, and creative chef with an excellent knowledge of food and customer service. He started his career in Italy as a young apprentice in a local pizzeria, learning the skills of bread, pizza, and pasta making. Giorgio moved to London at the age of 19 and worked in many different restaurants (...... Giorgio is a skilled, passionate, and creative chef with an excellent knowledge of food and customer service. He started his career in Italy as a young apprentice in a local pizzeria, learning the skills of bread, pizza, and pasta making. Giorgio moved to London at the age of 19 and worked in many different restaurants (winning best Pizza Maker of the year from Time Out and Evening Standard). He learned how to work with the freshest fish and the best cuts of aged beef, as well as a variety of seasonal and local vegetables. Giorgio learned these skills from some of the best chefs, such as Giorgio Locatelli, Albergo Pennati, and others who worked with Gordon Ramsey, Marco Pierre White, and Ed Baines. His favourite ingredients are the basic ones: flour, water and eggs, as well as fresh vegetables, meat and fish. The reason for this is that you can create so many different recipes from these ingredients, such as pastas, pies, breads, pizzas, pastries, and cakes.
