Giorgio is a skilled, passionate, and creative chef and maitre with an excellent knowledge of food and customer service. Giorgio moved to London at the age of 19 and worked in many d...... Giorgio is a skilled, passionate, and creative chef and maitre with an excellent knowledge of food and customer service. He started his career in Italy as a young apprentice in a local restaurant/pizzeria, learning the skills of bread, pizza, and pasta making. Giorgio moved to London at the age of 19 and worked in many different restaurants (winning best Pizza Maker of the year from Time Out and Evening Standard). He learned how to work with the freshest of fish and the best cuts of aged beef in the market, not mentioning, of course, a variety of seasonal and local vegetables. Giorgio learned these skills from some of the best chefs, such as Giorgio Locatelli, Albergo Pennati, and others who worked with Gordon Ramsey, Marco Pierre White, and Ed Baines. His favourite ingredients are the basic ones: flour, water, eggs, and fresh vegetables/meat/fish. And the reason for it is that you can create so many different recipes from those ingredients, such as pastas, pies, breads, pizzas, pastry, pasty, cakes. He loves to respect the tradition and the culture of the dish for the classics, while also mixing flavour to create new and exiting mouth watering experiences. Read all Hide
