Working with La Belle Assiette was simple! I only booked 5 days in advance and was very happy with the experience. Chef Francesco was very easy to work with. Upon arrival, he got to work immediately preparing for the dinner and worked for several hours before guests started to arrive. The food was fantastic and I would definitely consider doing this again in the future.
Francesco prepared canapés for a 40 guest summer party. His food was delicious, flavourful and seasonal. A complete success with our guests! The polenta with mushroom and blue cheese and the mini tiramisu were to die for.

Very good food and great service. I would def recommend it! Just a note, if you are gluten free or have any intolerances, you should talk to the chef directly, because I mentionned in my booking organic and gluten free, and la belle assiette didn't tell Francesco.

Francesco & Marco were professional and managed the canapé service very well, especially considering our very tiny kitchen. The canapés were all well sized and proportioned, some were tastier than others. All in all, a good experience.
Incredible Italian food with Francesco and Marco who perfectly cooked and served every meal. It was delicious, ultra fresh and fine, very well presented and very well described as well. Francesco and Marco are very nice and generous.
And I loved to take some time with my friend who was sitting close to me and not cooking in the kitchen !
This duo of Italian chefs takes you deep into their culture, through subtle flavours. All the dishes were rich in mouth, but light on your stomach (which could be an hesitation with earthy food)... I was amazed by the mushroom veloute which came with very tasty pieces of mushroom and a light texture. And what to say about the creme brulee, which is always a daunting task to get right... But they did it: again rich in flavour but never too much, and we enjoyed it till the very last spoon. In summary it is a great combination in the kitchen and in your plate.
The dinner has been great and the service was flawless. All our friends were really satisfied and wanted more info about La Belle!

Francesco and Marco prepared exquisite canapés for a company launch party. They were creative with their recipes and excellent at execution. I would highly recommend them and their food for any corporate or private events.

We had a wonderful dinner and experience with Francesco and Marco: the food was excellent, beautifully presented and a real treat for all our guests. A lot of the food was already prepared so it took them close to no time to set up and have canapés up and running. And they were delicious! Finally, a lot of respect for their patience in putting up with a very rowdy bunch, with christmas carols, secret santa and cracker jokes! It was like they were part of the crowd. They were slightly delayed arriving at our place, also in part due to my miscalculation of what 'service time' meant. All turned out well in the end. Thanks again both, we had a great time and we will try to do this again soon!
Chefs Francesco and Marco were very talented and professional. The food was really good -- perfectly cooked lamb, great combinations of flavors, and some innovative dishes. They handled a vegetarian guest without a problem and were flexible in how we served the party based on our requests.

Good food. But we felt the service was average and really compromised the experience.
Francesco and Marco proposed an extremely exquisite menu with a great mix of British, French and Italian cuisine.
The thing that impressed me the most was the passion they have for food, which is clearly reflected in their obsessive search of the best quality ingredients.
Superb was the squash soup served with a home-made (by the chefs) truffle olive oil.
Overall, the impression they gave me was of two seriously professional chefs that know their job very well, and have a great joy doing it.
Francesco and Marco served us a great meal! The saffron addition to the potato & leek, the Apple & avocado combination, the delicately cooked sea bass and finally, the dessert. The green tea, lemon and white chocolate just worked!!
The only slight disappointment was the slightly stodgy, mushy risotto which lacked an equally exciting flavour when compared to the other delectable courses.
A great dinner all in all, and brilliant company!

An interesting and delicious menu, the leek and potato soup with saffron and truffle oil was a perfect starter for the cold and rainy night. Everything was expertly cooked and it was a really fun evening!
I really enjoyed the crab salad as it was beautifully fresh & tasty. The fish was really well cooked and paired well with the sweet tomatoes and the delicious artichoke puree. The plate was a little cold, but this is understandable given the limitations of the kitchen in the flat. The dessert was wonderful. I thought the soup was a little floury and the risotto could have done with more seasoning, but overall the quality of the food was very good. Overall it is a 3.75/5 for me.
Well-executed food; simple yet effective dishes and came at a great pace (not too rushed or too late). The 5 courses filled me up, and that is always a great thing ;) Some items could have used more staple ingredients (salt, pepper, etc.) but I enjoyed the entire experience. Recommended.
