Chef Christos was outstanding! Cannot praise him enough, the food was incredible, the organisation and preparation flawless and the service was out of this world! Highly recommend.
Christos cooked us a lovely 3 course meal for a hen party. We had 6 people with 3 different dietary requirements and he was very accommodating! The food was delicious and we all had a brilliant time. Thank you!
Our experience with Christos far exceeded expectations. He was so friendly and relaxed, professional and tidy. I don’t really know how to put into words how good his food was but the clean plates said it all. He explained to us where he had a sourced his ingredients from, most of them local to his home, he talked us through his cooking methods which for those of us who think of ourselves as foodies was really exciting. The presentation of the food was beautiful, the flavours were incredible and the only downside was finishing the meal.
Chef Christos was phenomenal. The menu he prepared for us was incredible and the quality of the cooking was sublime. He cooked a meal for 14 people with a temperamental oven and managed to delivery everything at the highest quality. Not only was the quality of the food very high the portion size was well beyond what we expected!
His approach and professionalism really shone through and I would have not hesitation in using him again.

La Belle Assiette service was excellent & a perfect solution to host my husbands surprise 50th birthday dinner. I chose Christos Georgakis - Seafair menu and he surpassed our expectations! Christos is an outstanding chef who wants to understand his clients desires. He created a bespoke menu incorporating my husbands favour foods for this special occasion. Christos's professionalism, attention to detail and flexibility is outstanding and on a par with Michelin restaurants worldwide. First time using La Belle due to the location i needed a private chef for.
They were easy to deal with, clearly explained the menu choices and the chef Christos was out of this world.
He turned up to a basic kitchen with all the utensils and ingredients required. Cooking for 10 is no easy thing but christos managed it exceptionally and the food was out of this world.
I have reccomended La Belle to the holiday park i stayed at for them to reccomend to their customers if needed.
A* on everything, christos even washed up and left no mess!
What a feast we had! Christos cooked us a fabulous family feast in the comfort of the lodge we were stay in at Celtic Manor.
He team arrived a few hours before our agreed time to serve, to ensure he had everything ready for meal. It took Christos only a short time set up and to get used to the kitchen.
Throughout the evening Christos was respectfully and pleasant to the whole family. He also kept me informed / checked all was as expected. He was organized for service on time, and was able to keep the food ready, without loss of flavour/texture/tenderness for our slightly later than planned start.
Christos took the time to explain the food, the flavors and the source of his fresh ingredients.
The food luxurious, delicious, and generous in portions size. The scallop were amazingly fresh, the crackling passed the crunch test and the brûlée was yum!

Beginning with the initial phone call to introduce himself, to discussing and finalising the menu, nothing was too much of a problem.
On the day of the dinner, Christos was warm, pleasant and super organised.
All of our 8 guests had nothing but praise for the amazing food that was prepared and served by Christo's. His explanation of each dish enhanced the experience and his knowledge of the local welsh produce was quite exceptional.

Christos cooked for us at my home for a surprise 70th birthday meal for my Dad. It was fantastic. He produced a superb 4 course meal with exceptional attention to detail. He was friendly and attentive and left my kitchen cleaner than he found it. The food really was first class despite my hob breaking and only offering him option of 1 ring. He was unphased! We booked chef Christos Georgakis for a suprise 50th birthday dinner for a friend and it was wonderful. Christos was really communicative beforehand, taking great care to tailor the menu to our needs. On the day he prepared us a delicious meal, easily one of the best I have ever eaten. He was really good humoured and pleasant to have around, and he left everything impeccably clean. I would do it again and recommend him to anyone looking to create a special evening.

The chef was very proffesional, despite not having adequate cooking equipment unfortunately with the chosen venue.the whole experience was very full filling, good communication all round, and a very flexible service.unfortunately, a couple of things out of the chefs control did occur-the postcode given was incorrect, I did email the company making them aware of this sometime back, and the server was unfortunately sick at last minute meaning a couple of the guests were roped into serving. a couple of guests had dropped out last minute unfortunately,it would've been nice to take their food away as it was paid for.
We booked Christos for my partner’s 30th birthday for ten adults and three children. From the first point of contact with Christos, the service was absolutely top class. He was extremely flexible in organising times to speak about the meal and very friendly. We weren’t sure what to have for our menu but Christos gave us a selection of meals to choose from. On the day of my partner’s birthday Christos arrived in the afternoon to start preparing and it was like seeing an old friend - he made us feel very relaxed in his company. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He worked very hard to make a wonderful meal and I must say the food was absolutely delicious. The presentation was excellent too and really had the ‘wow factor’. When serving each dish he took the time to explain exactly how he had made the food and with what ingredients, which was very interesting. On top of all that Christos then even does all of the washing up and left the kitchen absolutely spotless. It really was such a special evening and everyone is still talking about how wonderful the meal was, and I am sure we will continue to do so for years to come. I would highly recommend Christos to anyone and I would certainly book him again for future events.

The experience was far better than we could have hoped. Christos was amazing. He took great care in helping us pick the menu and when we told him our daughter was gluten intolerant he made sure that the full meal took acccount of this. On the day he was just so focused on making the whole day positive for us and our guests. I expected the food to be wonderful-it was- but I had n't expected all the extras such as describing each dish and just making sure that we all both enjoyed the meal and the complete experience. I wanted to book a chef to prepare and cook a special meal for a large group, all on a surprise mountain biking weekend in Wales to celebrate my husband's 50th, as I wanted to be part of the celebration, not stuck in the kitchen all day and night. Christos was wonderful. Despite problems getting in touch with me to discuss the menu, he persevered and we discussed menu ideas - I wanted a Welsh-themed menu but which also featured my husband's favourites. He came up with the perfect menu and also helpfully accommodated the needs of the vegetarians in our group.
On the day he literally battled through Storm Callum to get to us, then prepared and served a most delicious meal, while I was free to enjoy the evening with my family and friends. Everyone loved the food and he left the kitchen spotless. Christos was charming and friendly throughout and I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Christos made our celebration incredibly memorable. He was very friendly, organised and flexible with both the menu and timings. The quality of food was superb and all of our guests were blown away by how delicious the three courses were. Half of us are vegetarian and half of us eat meat. Both groups commented on how brilliant all of their dishes were. I would not hesitate to recommend Christos to make an event extra special.

We were lucky enough to book Christos for an evening in August 2018 whilst on a family holiday celebrating our parents’ Golden Wedding Anniversary.
We chose to work with Christos on a six-course menu for eight people. We focused on using as much organic, local Welsh produce as possible and Christos didn’t disappoint (the carrots alone were pulled from the ground that very morning). The menu was carefully crafted, each course building flavours through a multitude of stocks, purees, dressings and foams. We enjoyed Pembrokeshire hand-picked white crab, hand-dived king scallops, line-caught Welsh sea bass bouillabaisse, roast fillet of Gower steak and sumptuous dark chocolate terrine before a selection of award winning Welsh cheeses.
How he managed to juggle the complexity of the menu including a vegetable alternative for one non-meat eating guest was a sheer joy to behold. Christos clearly loves what he does. His passion comes across in his personality, his presentation of each dish, in every last delicious mouthful and in the spotless kitchen once departed.
Everyone in the party would thoroughly recommend Christos and we hope it’s not too long before we can sample his wonderful cooking again.

This is the second time I have used the services of La Belle Assiette, and I am sure it will not be the last! My first restaurant at home experience was organised for a holiday in France, the second was a holiday we have just returned from in Wales. The booking was easy, communication great and our chef was wonderful! Christos gave me some lovely choices and didn't mind when I changed my choice of pudding a few days before! He was punctual, very smart and really kind and chatty with a few of us who were interested in what he was doing and wanted to watch and ask the odd question (which would have freaked me out if I was trying to concentrate and cook a meal if I'm honest!!)
The food itself was beautiful to look at, interesting and inventive and showcasing some of the local seasonal fayre that was available, but best of all it was absolutely delicious!! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful and not a scrap was left, Christos served the food with brief descriptions and details of where it was sourced from. He ultimately cleared and cleaned the kitchen to spotless, it was as if he was never there! Another 5* experience, I will definitely be using you again, thanks!

Christos cooked for 9 people with a range of dietary requirements. The menu that you pick on this website is not the final one, he suggested so many options for us and made the evening all about what you want to eat. He has a great knowledge of local ingredients, even experimenting to create a totally unique vegan dish for one of our party. Christos went above and beyond for our night and I would have him cook for me and my guests anytime.

Christos's attention to detail was second to none, from our initial phone call discussing ideas to him promptly arriving at our self-catering accommodation he smoothly produced 3 courses of wonderful food in a relaxed and professional manner.
We had a brilliant evening, Christos was very professional and very well prepared. The food was out of this world!! We are a foodie family and love eating at top restaurants and this was every bit as good. He was extremely accommodating with our seafood themed menu and was so responsive in the preparation stage. The bisque sauce with the brill main was to die for and the chocolate fondant was perfectly runny in the middle. All in all an amazing evening and we would definitely use Christos and La Belle Assiette again.
Christos delivered an amazing dinner for our group of 12. Working by himself, he was able to create a perfectly cooked risotto, steak and dauphinois potatoes and lemon tart. The portion sizes were larger than expected - we had a hard time finishing, though we all wanted to. His service was top notch and unprompted he was able to suggest a needed break before the dessert so that we could have a breather. We look forward to hiring Christos again when we have the opportunity

An exceptional dinner and a wonderfully relaxed evening. The fine dining dishes Christos produced were delicious, and all in the comfort of your own home! He even did the washing up! I would highly recommend this dining experience.
An excellent evening aided by Chef Christos explanation of the origins of each dish, specific ingredients and knowledge of local ingredients. The fact that most of the dishes came from the Gower area and was local to us gave the evening a very personal flavour and his unique approach to each course gave us an evening we won't forget.
Christos is a lovely man who quickly entered into the spirit of our group- \he was prompt on arrival and proceeded to produce a lovely meal. The food was delicious- and embellished with his own personal additions. He talked about what he had prepared and how he had done it. His beef bourgignon was exceptional and beautifully presented We ate the meal at our pace - no rush on his part and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. He cleared up and disappeared leaving us to continue enjoying ourselves. Altogether a lovely experience and one we would be delighted to repeat.

I have worked all my life at various restaurants - from rosette level to a gastropub! I have served thousands of meals and most of the time I do not get to interact with the customers. At least now I can speak to them, get to know them and enjoy the night with them!
When, in the same week, I was competing for Welsh Chef of the Year and Masterchef Professionals. Is was a very rewarding and stressful experience!
