Christopher decided to follow his passion for food and cooking at Ballymaloe Cookery School in Ireland, where Darina Allen and family taught him an A-Z of culinary skills and he learnt about the importance of provenance and small-scale food production. Christopher decided to follow his passion for food and cooking at Ballymaloe Cookery School in Ireland, where Darina Allen and family taught him an A-Z of culinary skills and he learnt about the importance of provenance and small-scale food production. On his return to London with a Diploma from Ballymaloe, Christopher and two friends set up Cucina Futurista in Dalston, a pop-up restaurant paying homage to Italian art movement, Futurism. Running for six nights, over 200 diners were treated to a menu inspired by the art movement’s call for a multi-sensory dining experience. Following the success of Cucina Futurista, he completed a stage at the renowned Italian restaurant Bocca di Lupo in the heart of Soho, London. Bocca di Lupo offered him a permanent position as chef de partie where he worked for one year. Christopher decided to leave Bocca di Lupo and dedicated himself to working as a private chef.
