BIRTHDAY CELEBRATORY DINNER
NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE
I phoned Chris before the event to ask what time we could expect him. he said he likes to arrive 2 hours before service.He knew Guest were arriving at 19.00 hours for canapes etc with sitting down at 19.45
Chris phoned and said he expected to arrive at 18.30 but arrived at 19.15 - after all the guests had arrived
.My wife and I became increasingly anxious that the Chef had not arrived.
Chris brought with him Gerald to serve at table and he was excellent - in fact I gave him a £40 tip.
The meal was enjoyable although I was disappointed that the Prawns were served "shells on" which considering the occasion - Men in DJs etc - was very messy
At the end of the evening my wife pointed out that the kitchen floor was still filthy. Thay made an attempt to clean the floor further.
After they had left we discovered that the Dishwasher was not working - all the settings had been changed. THEY DID NOT TELL US THIS. On opening the machine my wife found best quality china very badly stacked in the machine - still unwashed..The machine is less than 2 years old and was working perfectly.. The dishes were so badly stacked that an irreplaceable coffee cup is cracked and chipped. As a result we were washing plates and dishes etc by hand at 02.00 in the morning. They had even stacked silver cutlery in the dishwasher despite my telling them not to.We are now waiting an Engineer to fix the dishwasher.
There are other places where damage has occurred on kitchen surfaces where hot pans have been placed. Clearly the Chef had no regard for my property
We have had a number of Chefs through your organisation and on every other occasion the kitchen has been left spotless
IF THIS HAD BEEN OUR FIRST EXPERIENCE WITH YOU WE WOULD NOT HAVE USED YOU AGAIN
I suggest you seriously consider removing Chris from your list of available Chefs

Chef Krzysztof Eugeniusz Ziòłkowski was incredible. We’d never had a private chef in our house before. He was punctual, very organised and made our 10 year wedding anniversary we were celebrating really special. Not only a fantastic chef but a very talented cocktail maker. I couldn’t recommend him and the experience more!!
The food was nice it was just unfortunate the chef’s attitude wasn’t great. Arrived and said hello didn’t shake my hand introduce himself or anything. During the meal I expected him to come in and introduce himself to my guests and and explain the dishes like most chefs, but no. Didn’t even come in at the end to say did you enjoy the meal etc. Then left without saying goodbye or shaking my hand I just caught him walking through my gate and shouted thx and waved. Not what you would expect from a top range chef at almost £100 a head.
Really wonderful food, and catered to the different dietary requirements really smoothly, much appreciated. I did get the impression that the space was actually too small for what I wanted to do though, and would have appreciated push back when I initially submitted my request so I could have adjusted! I didn't realise how much stuff would be brought along, and with an open plan kitchen / diner it was quite a squeeze!

Chris was great and even brought some help to serve the food. The food was fantastic and of a sufficient amount and quality. Everything was on time and left as found. A great experience!

We had an incredible evening with Chris, as a gift to my husband for Fathers Day. The food was out of this world, cooked with incredibly fresh ingredients and such precision. Presentation, service and personability were on point. The chef was so creative and had many great stories and lessons to share about cooking. We can’t wait to have him back in our home!

The Chef, Kris, was fantastic. His manner, his cooking, hus interaction with my family all spot on. This review is about my poor experience with la belle assiette who I will never use again.
We had an amazing time and Chris made everything easy and hassle free for us. We had a wonderful BBQ with friends, where the food was full of flavour and excellently cooked. Chris happily and easily accommodated changes in the menu to cater for some special dietary requirements. I really appreciated his professionalism and friendly demeanour that meant we all could enjoy the party and delicious food, which received praise from the guests. I would highly recommend his service, and higher him happily again.

First Class Customer service - including the Table Menus- Chris turned a Family Anniversary Dinner into a very special occasion - especially the pre dinner Cocktails and canapés served by our own Waitress which set the mood for the evening.
The excellent 4 course meal (waitress served) turned it into a very special Family Memory for us all look back on.

Both the food and the Chef were really good but the service was disappointing and so was the state of the kitchen afterwards.

We had an amazing evening with chef Krzyzstof. He cooked a superb 4 course menu for us and also made delectable cocktails. There were several allergies he needed to cater for and he did so in his stride.

Had a wonderful meal prepared for six, everything went perfectly. The dishes were of top quality which made it the best meal every served in my house. This was nothing less than a feast.
Chris was constantly the professional answering questions, at the end of the meal all the dishes were washed up and the kitchen cleaned.

A great idea - bring the chef to your home. Awesome range of food, well priced all the work done for you and cleaned away. Chef Chris - 32 Degree - was fantastic - served the lamb for 10. Thorougly enjoyed by everyone. Cannot recommend highly enough

Excellent experience from start to finish - from a thorough call to work through the menu and make some small adjustments - to the exceptional service on the evening and delicious food. Krzysztof and his assistant Dina were so friendly, cooked and served a beautiful meal and left the house in a very clean state. The crab main course in particular was stunning.
Would definitely recommend and use again
We had a wonderful Father's Day meal with Chris and La Belle Assiette. Chris created a delicious vegan menu especially for us, even taking the time to learn how to make vegan mozzarella and other vegan items that he hadn't made before. I am still dreaming of the vegan panacotta that he made for us. We had three children as part of our party and he added some lovely little touches to the meal which they enjoyed - eating dips from a filo basket and an edible bowl filled with fruit were the highlights for them. Even my picky eater ate some dishes that he's never tried before. This was top quality food and Chris and his team were a pleasure to have around the house. They also left the kitchen cleaner than it was when they arrived!

Traditional Greek grilled octopus with Mediterranean roasted vegetables, pearl barley risotto and pancetta wafer. It's a time consuming dish. It takes 48 hours to prepare, but the result will leave you speechless!
