Amazingly, it’s been 2 years since La Belle Assiette was launched in the UK. We’ve had another busy year, changed and grown a lot. We thought we’d share some highlights of 2016 at La Belle Assiette :)

In the news
We’ve been extremely popular in the media this year. Featuring in The Financial Times (3 times!), London Evening Standard (4 times!), Metro, The Independent, The Guardian, TimeOut to name but a few (of 234 to be exact)!
We now have 300 talented, creative and passionate chefs cooking across the whole of the UK. Cooking for over 10,000 customers! Their range of skills and cuisines is impressive from Italian to Iraqi and Nepalese to Nordic to vegan and gluten free there really is something for everyone.
In February we created the hot-list for valentines day! We have some dashingly good-looking chefs who were available to cook up romantic meals for couples or treat groups to an evening of indulgence. hot-list.labelleassiette.co.uk
Over September and October customers were able to book perfectly paired Champagne menus. Our chefs worked with expert sommeliers to create menus that would enhance the flavours of Moet Hennessy Champagnes and the dishes!
A big highlight of the year was when we hosted London’s Longest (and best) dinner party. 100 courses in 1,000 minutes – you can read all the highlight here. 9 of our top chefs, Zoe, Chris, Halima, Fynn, Gio, Elia, Alec, Yann and Graham cooked throughout the day, serving a different dish every 10 minutes to 12 hungry (although not by the end) diners. All the course were paired with Nicolas Feuillatte Champagnes. It was a great success and everyone was asking “when’s the next one:”
We made it to The Pitch Final, a fantastic start-up competition. We didn’t win but the whole experience was hugely valuable. Find out more here.
