Validation Dinner: Steven Vanderveken

Congratulations to Chef Steven on his successful validation dinner. His validation took place on the 20th of September in Bournemouth. The role of the jury members was to try the private chef dining experience and evaluate the menu prepared by the chef.

The Chef

Steven realised he could combine his passion for food and love of meeting new people. Being a Chef was therefore the perfect path for Steven! He greatly appreciates the fact that his food plays a huge part in the beaming smiles of diners at the end of a party. Steven always incorporates fresh and colourful ingredients in his dishes as he strives to create unique fine dining experiences. He loves to add a few special touches, paying attention to presentation, in order to make the experience even more memorable. Steven cannot wait to continue the career which he loves for many years to come.

 

The Menu

Starter

White truffle lasagne with dried porcini mushrooms, parma ham and parmesan

 

Main

Slow cooked lamb shank with sweet potato puree, roasted carrots, sweet potato crisps and rosemary gravy

 

Dessert

Chocolate ganache with raspberry coulis, roasted almonds and fruit
