Validation Dinner: Jilly Darling

Congratulations to Chef Jilly Darling on her successful validation dinner. Her validation took place on the 16th of January in Bournemouth. The role of the jury members was to try the private chef dining experience and evaluate the menu prepared by the chef.

The Chef

Jilly headed to Palma de Mallorca after University to pursue a career in the super yacht industry where she spent 5 years cooking in various locations for a variety of people. After returning home, she is now ready to bring all of her experience and skills to the comfort of your own home. Jilly is a creative chef who loves to challenge herself to provide you with an exceptional, personalised menu.

The Menu


Quail’s egg scotch egg, beetroot tart


Lamb loin with cauliflower purée and roasted cauliflower


Mulled fruits with cinnamon ice cream, dark chocolate fudge

“The process from start to finish for my dinner party was amazing. Email communication was quick and detailed and I was able to adapt the menu. We had a dairy free and vegetarian guest in attendance and the menu was fully customised to make her feel included. The food was enjoyed by everybody! Jilly, our chef, was amazing and left the kitchen looking immaculate! Couldn’t recommend the service more!”
