Congratulations to Chef Dan on his successful validation dinner. His validation took place on the 29th of September in London. The role of the jury members was to try the private chef dining experience and evaluate the menu prepared by the chef.
From an early age, Dan has been passionate about food. He even taught himself to cook by reading cookery books and collecting recipes from magazines. After graduating from renowned Leith’s School of Food and Wine in 2014, Dan continued to hone his talents working as a fine-dining Chef for the Chief Executives and Directors at Barclays’ world headquarters and Ernst & Young. Dan’s extensive travels have widened his repertoire of cuisines, taking inspiration from all over the world but he has a particular soft-spot for the countryside, where he grew up. As a result, Dan always includes fresh, seasonal produce in his dishes. He prides himself in keeping things simple, believing if you are using the right ingredients at the right time of year, then they should speak for themselves! According to Dan, the greatest pleasure a Chef can get, is seeing people enjoy their food!

‘Dan was just as lovely as his food! A relaxed atmosphere was maintained and he was very friendly while remaining professional. The food was full of flavour and delicious and a special dish not included on the menu was a nice touch! The portion sizes and presentation were also perfect. Would highly recommend this chef and service.’
‘Wow! Dan was an angel. A great warm welcoming energy with the culinary skills to match. French toast was incredible!’
Dan’s exciting menu made for an exceptional brunch. His expertise and professionalism resulted in an unforgettable and delicious afternoon.
