La Belle Assiette is excited to be a partner of Food Bloggers Connect 2015 and is delighted to feature in the strEAT party. We have of course planned some exciting and mouthwatering experiences over the three day conference for everyone to enjoy.

Three of our most talented chefs will be cooking and showcasing some of their skills. Each chef has a diverse background and cooking style highlighting the diversity that La Belle Assiette offers.

Our Pop-up Dining Room will be open over the whole weekend, where 8 guests at a time can indulge in having a private chef at ‘home’. Each sitting will be for 15 minutes, where you can meet the chef, sit, eat, relax, and enjoy!

Please register quickly as there are limited spaces at each session and spaces will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. If you are unable to attend a session please come and say hello at other times where the chef will be preparing canapés for you to enjoy.

Below are the chefs’ bios and the menus that they will be creating during the conference:

Friday 25th September
Chef Andra Constantinescu

AndraChef Andra Constantinescu is passionate about healthy and fresh produce specialising in vegetarian and Mediterranean cooking. She finds a lot of inspiration whilst travelling and is always looking for new ingredients and flavours for her dishes.

5 years ago Andra changed her diet and became a vegetarian, a decision made so that she could reconnect with her body and herself. The experience has taught her how to get the absolute best out of vegetables, not only creating dished full of flavour but also ones that look beautiful.

Andra will be creating a vegetarian menu for the Pop-up Dining Room highlighting the beauty of vegetables.

Saturday 26th September
Chef Tadashi Tsujimoto

TadashiTadashi grew up in the countryside of Nara, Japan spending a lot of time fishing and playing in the woods surrounded by fresh produce. He moved to the US when he was 18, where he trained at the Cordon Bleu, San Francisco and gained experience in restaurants. Later moving to the UK where he learnt more about French and Japanese cuisine. Now, Tadashi is working as a private chef in London where he really enjoys the intimacy of cooking for people in their own homes. “One of the greatest joys is being able to create his own menus using seasonal fresh produce.”

Tadashi is bringing his French-Japanese cooking skills to FBC and will be creating this fusion menu.

Salmon Gravlax – cured with Shiso and Yuzu

Beef Tataki  – garlic chive, garlic crisp, ponzu


Chicken Liver Mousse – Blackberries, Coriander Cress

Brown rice & quinoa vegetable sushi roll – avocado, oakleaf salad, shitake and tahini


Saturday 27th September
Chef Eric Allangba 

Eric AllangbaChef Eric Allangba started his culinary journey over 20 years ago and graduated from the esteemed Lycée Francois Rabelais, Lyon. He went on to hone his skills under the tutelage of some of the most talented and passionate chefs from across the globe. In bistros in Lyon, his home town and through to Michelin-starred restaurants in London, he fine-tuned his culinary craft and now wants to share his love of food with you.

Eric will be creating modern French dishes with influences from around the world.
