Sara, is now a full time Chef Consultant after reaching the finals of MasterChef 2011. The show was an amazing experience and offered her an invaluable platform giving her the motivation to change from nursing to a full time career in food. When John and Gregg told the three finalists “Go out and make the most of your talent”, she took their advice seriously. The result of all the blood, sweat and tears that came from MasterChef made her understand the secret of taking food from an ordinary to an extraordinary dimension. Consequently, she left her job as an intensive care sister, a very difficult decision, and have focussed entirely on good food. Sara is proud of her roots and the wonderful flavours and dishes that Italy has given the world. She combines her rich heritage with the principles of fine dining to make modern, stylish Italian cuisine. Her ethos as a chef is simplicity: her MasterChef final dishes all had a handful of ingredients. It is not gadgets and knives, but a few high quality ingredients that are the real tools of a chef and the most important elements of any great meal. Her cooking is a celebration of both her Italian heritage and the wonderful local produce that Britain has on offer. Cooking has always been a huge part of chef Mark Heirs’s life. His parents owned pubs and restaurants and when he was younger and the kitchen was the only place he was allowed to help out. When Mark left school, catering college seemed the logical choice. He cut his culinary teeth in the kitchens of One Devonshire Gardens and Heston Blumenthal’s Fat Duck before becoming head chef at his family-owned restaurant in his hometown of Falkirk. Since then, Mark has gone on to be a quarter finalist on the first series of BBC’s MasterChef The Professionals and can now be found travelling the world as a private chef.

A finalist in 2015’s MasterChef, Tony forged a name for himself with his intricate dishes and complex desserts. Dubbed a “master chocolatier” by Gregg Wallace and hailed as a “future talent” by John Torode, Tony has since set up his private dining service offering you the opportunity to taste his food. Creating beautiful plates of food and using seasonal ingredients, Tony creates menus to excite and entertain. During the course of your meal, Tony will be happy to recant stories of the MasterChef competition, his journey and the judges and competitors.
