A chef for 2 years, with experience including 1 year as Head Chef in a Whitstable based bar & restaurant and 8 months as a chalet chef for a prestigious 30 bed chalet in France. A chef for 2 years, with experience including 1 year as Head Chef in a Whitstable based bar & restaurant and 8 months as a chalet chef for a prestigious 30 bed chalet in France. He is passionate about cooking South East Asian and Japanese street food but thus far has not been able to showcase his abilities due to his previous client tastes other than themed evenings. Angus began cooking at the age of 15, at 18 he went to South East Asia and did a couple of cooking courses and fell in love with the cuisine, of which progressed through his 4 years at University. He loves how balanced the flavours are, the use of fresh ingredients and the respect and time given to the art. His main focus is Thai and Japanese food but he is also familiar with Indonesian, Vietnamese, Loas and Cambodian food having visited the aforementioned in the past and partaken in various cooking classes/experiences.
